Synopsis
Ana Paula (42) and Mariana (25) follow parallel paths as prison officers, far from their roots and emotional ties. While Mariana dreams of a transfer that will boost her career and adult life, Ana Paula longs to return to São Paulo and live in the metropolis. The exhausting days inside the prison units make decisions increasingly difficult in the search for a future. At Christmas time, emotions run high, both because of the prisoners’ dream of freedom and the female officers’ desire to belong. After all, when all seems lost, who can they trust?
